Day 5 of Welcome Home Baby is all about feeding! Even though babies don't start eating until they are between 4-6 months old, the Baby Dipper is still a MUST HAVE!!!
First of all, I have to tell you the amazing story of the creator of the Baby Dipper, Barbara Schantz. In 2004, she gave birth to twin girls. In 2008, she gave birth to twin boys!!! Frustrated with how complicated traditional bowls made feeding 2 babies at once, she created the Baby Dipper!
The Baby Dipper is a triangular shaped feeding bowl that is designed to allow parents to enjoy one-handed feeding and helps babies to learn to feed themselves! It has a non-slip base and I love that the inside corners are spoon-shaped so it's easy to get all of the baby food out of the bowl!

I learned Baby Dipper Bowls are lead free, BPA free + microwave safe and must be handwashed or placed on the top rack of a dishwasher to maintain the integrity of the bowl.

I learned that the Baby Dipper is non-skid and has transparent sides so you can see the amount of food left.

I went to the website
I found out that it has a grip on the bottom to prevent slipping so when you're bending over to pick up the spoon the bowl has a less likely chance of your baby hitting it with it's hands and the bowl sliding off and landing on your foot and splattering the applesauce all over the kitchen wall...I'm just sayin'
