TummyTub USA Giveaway! Welcome Home Baby! ENDED

Congrats #5, TJ & AMY

It seems like so many of our readers are either expecting or have new babies or grandbabies so I am so excited to be kicking off a full week of AWESOME baby products!  As a mother of 4, I have learned a lot about what products are best for babies and new Mama's and this first one on my list is definitely one of my favorites. The TummyTub!

The TummyTub is the first ever made tub of its kind and features a unique shape and size that mimicks the Mother's womb!  Very popular in Europe, the TummyTub is making it's way to other parts of the world, giving parents and babies stress-free and relaxing bath times!  I think these tubs are simply amazing!  They give babies a warm, safe, relaxed and natural environment to bathe in.  I love how the TummyTub also encourage physical interaction with the baby, as you have to maintain very close physical contact with the baby while bathing them.  As the mother of a baby who was extremely colicky during his first couple months, I am a believer in how well these tubs work to help relax baby and to promote better feeling bellies by keeping baby in an upright position as opposed to laying them down in a traditional bath!

The TummyTub was also recently named a Top Product for Colic!

Speaking from personal experience, I love the concept of this tub for a number of reasons. First of all, they take way less water than a traditional tub!  2nd, the water stays warmer longer and it keeps the baby pretty much submerged except for their heads, keeping them more relaxed and warmer longer as well. I also love how compact it is compared to other traditional bath tubs!

The TummyTub has been replicated by many other companies but the TummyTub is the original tub, made in Europe and used by millions of mothers and babies. The materials that the TummyTubs are made out of are to ensure the utmost safety and comfort for babies.  Designed by a midwife, there has never been any accidents reported from the use of a TummyTub and many hospitals are now using them right in the Delivery Room!  Made from high-end plastic contains no phthalates, BPA, lead or other toxic elements. My favorite part about the TummyTub that sets it apart from the rest is their optional stool!  It's height adjustable and can be used as a pedestal for the TommyTub OR as a multi-functional stool for toddlers.

We here at the Lewis House definitely say you would be CRAZY not to have one of these!

  10. I learned the tummy tub can help with sleeping problems if the correct temperature of water is used and the water is high enough to cover the baby's shoulders.

  24. In most tubs the baby is only partially in water and they get cold and cranky. In the Tummy Tub they would stay nice and warm!

  25. I thought it was interesting the tub can be used up to age 3 or 35 lbs. I can't think of any other baby tub/seat that lasts half that long!
