Hasbro Picks for Kids

Our family LOVES playing games. It’s so nice just to sit around the table together playing and laughing together sometimes, especially since it seems like we are so busy these days! Our game cabinet is bursting with Hasbro games because they provide us with hours of fun at awesome prices. The last time we went to a movie together, it cost us over $60 by time we purchased tickets, popcorn and soda. With $60, our family can purchase several Hasbro games that give our family YEARS of fun together!! Hasbro recently sent us some of their games and I have to tell you, they are seriously addicting!

Scrabble Slam

One of our ALL TIME favorite games is Scrabble so we were ecstatic to see Scrabble Slam arrive! Both my 7 and 8 year olds are excellent readers and spellers so this game is a blast for us to play! We play it at home, on the road and most recently, we took it on a trip to Grandma’s house! My favorite part is that the rules are so easy for the kids to follow! You just start out with a 4 letter word (a nice one!), deal out the rest of the cards and then players change the word by laying letter cards down on the original word. We have a lot of laughs when one of us try to sneak a nonsense word in. One day we started with the word Game. I changed it to Fame. My 8 year old changed it to Lame. My 7 year old changed it Lime. And then we just went on from there until one of us ran out of cards. I love it that it’s fun but at the same time, it’s helping my kids think quick and learn!

Connect 4

Connect 4 is another of my favorite games from Hasbro. I can remember playing games like it when I was younger so now it’s so much fun playing it with my own children! We have two Connect 4 games now so it’s double fun because now my husband and I can play with one of the older kids while the other 2 play at the same time. It’s a fun game that even my 5 year old can play because all you have to do is try to get 4 of your colored chips in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Sometimes we even make up our own rules to try and make patterns with the chips!

Toy Story 3 Space Shooter Target Game

With the release of the new Toy Story 3 movie, the Space Shooter Target Game has been tons of fun for our children, especially our 5 year old!

With its easy to understand rules, you just use your blaster to help save Woody and the Gang by targeting enemy toys! Such a BLAST!

Check out the Hasbro shop for these games and many more!

*This is not a paid post. This is my honest opinion about these products that I was sent free of charge to review*

I haven't heard of the Scrabble Slam, but it looks really fun. We, as a family, have gotten away from playing board games. My son turned 19 and moved away for a job, my 16 yr old is driving now and is home as much as she used to be. So now it is just my husband, our 5 yr old and I. We have gotten lazy about family play lately. I do play memory and hungry hippo with my daughter regularly though.
