Guest Post! Recipe for Taco Soup!!!

Fall is my FAVORITE time of year!  I love nothing more than to hang out in my jeans and hoodies, huddled around a fire roasting marshmallows and making Smores!!!  One of my other favorite things to do is bake with the kids and make soup!  I recently asked our readers for some of their favorite soup recipes and Jessie from Jessie's Ramblings sent me a yummy recipe called Taco Soup! Talk about some YUMMMMMMMMMMMY stuff!  Check it out!

Taco Soup

1 pound lean ground beef (or ground turkey), brown and drain

1-15.5 ounce can navy beans, undrained

1-15.5 ounce can kidney beans, undrained

1-15.5 ounce can black beans, undrained

1-15.5 ounce can red chili beans, undrained

1-15.5 ounce can corn, undrained

1 (or 2) -14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes, undrained

1 can Rotelle tomatoes

1 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix

1 envelope taco seasoning

2 cups chicken broth

Dump everything in the crock pot (bean liquid and all!). Cook on low all day. Serve with cornbread or sour cream, cheese and tortilla chips.

Simple, easy and this soup goes a loooooooooooong way! (I love leftover soup!!!!)

You'll have to let me know if you try it!  :)

Do you have a fall recipe to share?! Send it to me at
