Little One Books Review and $25 Gift Certificate Giveaway!!!

If you have ever been in a bookstore, you already know how overwhelming they can be. Even if you go in knowing exactly what book you are looking for, sometimes it can take forever to find!  I was really happy when Little One's Books contacted me for a review because I find online book stores much easier to browse and find what I am looking for!

Little One's Books was amazingly easy to navigate. They have done all of the work and have picked out the best of the best in children's titles and have even sorted them for you by age and product. When we were told we could pick something out to review, the kids immediately asked if their were any Eric Carle books so we searched and within seconds, we had exactly what we were looking for. Our kids love Eric Carle and we actually found a book that we don't have yet, The Very Quiet Cricket!! This is an awesome book that actually makes chirping sounds!

Another thing I love about Little One Books is the "Why We Chose This Book" at the bottom of each product. Here is the one from the title we chose!

"This is a classic Eric Carle book that incorporates his signature drawings and a very sweet storyline. The book focuses on a cricket that cannot make any noise. He walks around while the other bugs make their noises to say hello, but he can't seem to make his sound work. At the end, he triumphantly makes noise, which is a moment made grander by the chirping sound built into the book.

This book engages multiple senses. The illustrations are created from bold colors and have a lot of texture. The rhythmic text bounces along and will be entertaining for your little one. Perhaps most importantly, the chirping at the end will make your child simultaneously amazed and excited.

I read this book over and over again when I was a child. I felt so sorry for the cricket, and was glad that he found his voice at the end. I thought that the cricket chirping sound was incredible, and couldn't wait to get to the end because I loved making the chirping noise with my own voice.Little One Books offers a great sdelection of Children's Books for kids of all ages, a fun selection of Children's Music and even Children's Videos!
