My husband and I have been trying to "makeover" our unhealthy eating habits over the past several months so we were very excited to get to try out the Next Grilleration Removable Plate Grill from George Foreman. We had a small George Foreman grill when we had gotten married ages ago and it was among our favorite ways to prepare our meals so I had high expectations for this new grill especially since they claim that the grill can reduce up to 42% of the fat!!!!!

What we Thought:
As soon as we received the grill, we washed it up and made hamburgers on it that same night. The grill came ready to use so we just wiped it down and plugged it in and we were ready to go! We let the grill preheat for 15 minutes before we put the hamburgers on so we could make sure it was plenty hot enough, although the indicator light came on in half of that time saying it was ready to use.
One of the best parts about this grill is the size! It takes up very little counterspace which is awesome because I don't have much to spare!!!
So after the grill was ready to go, we put our burgers on and to say I was amazed would be an understatement. You could literally SEE the fat dripping down into the pan!
Our family likes its burgers well done so we cooked them a little bit longer than recommended but in less than 10 minutes, we had 3 perfectly cooked burgers! The kids wanted cheese so we just stuck cheese on and it melted without making a mess on the grill.
And HERE is what made me truly believe in this grill. Look at the FAT that came out of just 3 hamburgers!!! Can you say YUCK?! It made me feel really good that this was NOT included in my family's meal that night! I never would have guessed this much fat could be in just 3 hamburgers!!!!
End result?! A delicous, healthier burger with way less fat! My husband and children had rave reviews!
Now I have to admit. I only eat poultry but I cook red meat a lot for my husband and my children so one of my new favorite things to do is make MYSELF chicken on the Next Grilleration grill on nights that I make beef or pork for the rest of the family!!! It takes such a short amount of time with minimal effort and it is delicious!! I don't have to fuss with the grill outside which saves me so much time!
I thought clean-up would be a pain but with the removable plates, it was as breeze! The bottom and top plates came right off and in less than a minute, the grill was clean and ready to use again! It doesn't get any better than that!!!
If you are trying to KNOCK OUT THE FAT, I would suggest you check out the George Foreman Next Grilleration Removable Plate Grill!!!! For less than $50, you can't get a better deal!!!
