School's Out For SUMMER!

I can't believe it!  It seems like just YESTERDAY the kids were heading to school for a new year and now here we are today, the LAST day of school! Isn't it amazing how crazy fast time flies?! We had a kindergartener, 2nd grader and a 3rd grader this year and it just doesn't seem like it should be coming to an end. Aiden is going to be so happy to have his sister and big brothers home all of the time!!!  I think sometimes he gets bored with just me and it's going to be nice that he has kids to play with again!!! He gets into too much trouble when he is home alone!!!

We had a cookout Monday when there was no school for Memorial Day and that was tons of fun, although I have to say, it was HOT! 92 degrees here in Ohio but I will take that any day over any more rain!  Aiden tried to get in on the action too but I think he decided he had better things to do :)

The big kids played volleyball :)

Aiden just walked around and stole all the balls from them. *lol*

So I had this great idea for the last day of school. I bought all of the stuff to make 75 Beach Cupcakes. They were going to be super easy..........all you do is make the cupcakes, color some icing blue and stick a swedish fish and an umbrella in the top. Easy, huh?! So we get home with the stuff yesterday and my husband sees these Cake Ball Lollipops that he insists that we HAVE to make. Long story short....the cake balls were an epic fail. At 4:00 yesterday evening, I had no cupcakes made and no Cake Balls and we had a baseball game, softball game and a tee-ball game all 3 at 6:00 at different parks!!!!!!!!  All I can say is THANK GOD for my Aunt Judy because she hooked me up! She baked all of my cupcakes for me while we were at baseball and by time we got home at 9:00 she was finishing up the last ones. I owe her BIG!  If you need a cute and easy treat this Summer, try these cupcakes! They are super easy and they were a HUGE hit with the kids at school!!

Have your kids gotten out of school yet?! Any big plans for the Summer?
