My husband really likes pork chops but I feel like he gets bored because I make them the same way over and over again. Since this month's topic in the Hormel Extended Foods Preferred Blogger program is all about meat, I thought it would be nice to share some new recipes that I have found through the hormel recipe page!! One that I found that my husband really liked was their easy breaded pork chop recipe so that's the one I want to share this time around! It's easy and he said it was super yummy!!!
Easy Breaded Pork Chops
Ingredients Needed:
1 cup all-purpose flour seasoned with salt and pepper
1 sleeve saltine crackers, finely crushed
3 large eggs, beaten and seasoned with salt and pepper
2 tablespoons butter or vegetable oil
4 Hormel® Always Tender® Pork Chops
Directions:
1.On two separate large paper plates, place flour and crushed crackers. In shallow dish, place eggs.
2.In large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
3.Quickly coat each pork chop with flour, then egg and finally cracker crumbs; place in hot skillet. Brown first side; turn pork chops. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 15 minutes or until pork chops are done; turn. Cook 1 to 2 minutes longer or until breading is crisp.
How easy is that?! Enjoy!
