Laundry, Laundry, Everywhere!!!! PLUS $25 Visa Card Giveaway!

I don't know about you and your family but sometimes I feel lost in my own house! I will spend hours cleaning and a few hours later, I look around and think to myself, "What did I do all day?!" Having children can be a challenge especially when they think you are their personal maid!!!!  My kids have a bad habit of just taking of their clothes, wherever they are, and just leaving them. This only adds to the one chore in our home that I find is never-ending ......the laundry!!!

I have to do laundry every single day. If I would take one day off from doing the laundry, I would find myself buried in an avalanche of jerseys, baseball pants, dirty socks and everything else you can possibly imagine. Our 6 year old son is in Tee-Ball, our 8 year old daughter is in Softball and our 9 year old son is in Baseball. This creates a mound of extra laundry on its own and when you throw a 16 month old in the mix, what you have is a MESS! And if that's not bad enough, having just 1 GIRL doubles the laundry! I constantly find the laundry bins full of CLEAN CLOTHES! If my daughter tries something on and doesn't end up wearing it, she will just throw it back into the dirty laundry bins! And don't even get me started on my 6 year olds love for MUD!

How would you like to do HIS laundry?!

Not only do you get his mud, but he LOOOOOOOVES to fill his pockets full of things like rocks too!

I am finding myself becoming more efficient every day though!  I keep coming up with these great ideas on how to keep things going and for the past couple of weeks, I have actually found myself searching for dirty clothes so I can fill the washer.

First of all, I get up a couple of hours before the kids get up in the morning. This helps me because our baby likes to "help" me, as you can see below!  By time he gets up, I already have the laundry going and I can work on it later when he takes a nap!!!

Second, I make sure I ALWAYS have plenty of supplies!  I buy laundry detergent in bulk and I love the Arm & Hammer Essentials™ Fabric Softener Sheets Lavender & Linen because you get a TON of fabric softener sheets in the box. If I run out of supplies to do the laundry, I have to drag all 4 kids to the store or wait until my husband gets home from work and neither are something I like to do.

 Third, I purchased one of those cool 3 bin laundry sorters. They are spacious and they save me time because I don't have to sort the laundry! Plus, I always find really cool surprises in them! This week I found our little guys lost sippy cup!

I am going to keep searching and finding ways to keep my sanity when it comes to the laundry!  I think eventually we will get a system down that will keep me from getting buried alive!!!
