An Awesome Way to End the Season!!!

One of our favorite parts of Summer is the sports that our children play in. We played in our final baseball tournament last weekend and it was bittersweet watching it come to an end. One of the best parts about it is the time that we get to spend with the other families. We have really gotten to know all of them over the past few years and we share a great bond together, cheering for our boys on the sidelines and socializing together between games.  I would trust any one of these parents with my kids any day of the week.

Gotta' love dirty ballpark kids! Our youngest 2 have a great time at the ballpark and they should...they were practically raised here! *lol*

Our boys celebrated a BIG win by rolling down the notorious "Huffy's Hill."

To celebrate a great season, all of the families pitched in and rented the city swimming pool last night for a party and I couldn't have picked a better way to end the season!!! Between our families, we have a TON of kids so this was the best way to go! Nobody had to have a house full of people and we didn't have to do anything to occupy the kids. We all had a blast!

Here's a pic of all of our kids together, minus just a few. We definitely have a lot of kids between us!

Here's one last pic of the team for the year!! These boys are so silly!!!

I wish I could say it was time for a break now but the end of baseball season just means one thing. The beginning of SOCCER! *lol* We will have all 3 of the older kids in the city league soccer this year so looks like it's going to be a busy fall! I guess we are going to have to wait until Winter to get a break........that is, unless the boys decide to play Basketball. Oh dear.

  1. Congratulations to the team on there big win! looks like the celebration was a blast!
