Small Ways to Save

When you have a larger family like we do, little expenses easily add up to BIG expenses. We have found that making small changes go a long way in the end. One of those things that we have found ways to save on is brushing teeth!  You wouldn't think brushing your teeth could add up to a big expense but it can if you don't pay attention! Here are small ways to save money in your house while brushing your teeth plus in other areas too!

Ways to Save:

*Don't let the water run while you are brushing

*Watch how much toothpaste you are using.....if I don't watch, my kids put a ton on their toothbrushes and then wipe half of it off! So wasteful!

*Set a timer for your kids to brush to

* Brush twice a day and floss at least once....the Dentist is expensive!

*Shower instead of taking a bath...it wastes less water

*Reuse household items like plastic containers

*Turn lights off when you leave a room

*Use rechargeable batteries

*Print on both sides of the paper

*Use Coupons

*Stock up when things are on sale

*Make more foods from scratch

*Purchase second hand clothing

What are some little things you do to help save BIG money?
