Bacon Continental Breakfast

Running out of ideas on nice, hot breakfasts to feed to the kids before school yet?! If so, this is a super yummy, quick and easy breakfast the entire family can enjoy! This is such a classic breakfast and when served with nice, cold orange juice or a steamy hot cup of coffee or hot cocoa (for Mom and Dad of course), you can't go wrong!!!

Bacon Continental Breakfast


1 package Black Label® Bacon

2 large grapefruit

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 (21-ounce) package frozen coffee cake or cinnamon rolls, thawed


1.In large skillet or 2-burner griddle, cook bacon over medium-high heat, turning several times, until browned. (Reduce heat if grease pops and sputters.) Drain bacon on several layers of paper towels.

2.Meanwhile, heat broiler.

3.Cut grapefruits in half; place on baking sheet, cut-side-up. Sprinkle each with 1 tablespoon brown sugar. Broil 4 minutes or until sugar is bubbly.

4.Warm coffee cake or rolls according to package directions. Serve with bacon and grapefruit.

So easy yet sooooo yummy! We have made all sorts of variations to this breakfast. Along with the bacon and grapfruit, we have made cinnamon rolls, coffee cake, blueberry muffins, etc.
