Bambo Nature Ultra Premium Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers Giveaway Ends 9/25

Aiden is baby #4 for us so we have tried just about everything the baby and toddler markets have to offer. We used disposable diapers for our first 3 children and we have used a mix of cloth and disposable diapers for our 19 month old since he was born.  I love cloth diapers but sometimes the just aren't convenient enough for me to use but I absolutely HATE using disposables, mostly because of the economic factor.  I never gave much thought to it when my other kids were babies but I am a lot more educated now and I hate contributing to the growing number of diapers that are filling our landfills.  So having said that, today was cloth diaper wash day at our house and I just had used the last disposable diaper that we had when low and behold, the Fed Ex man saved me by delivering me 2 packs of Bambo Nature Ultra Premium Eco-Friendly Baby Diapers and I was so excited!!  Never have I seen a bio-degradable disposable diaper and I won't lie. I was secretly jumping up and down to get to try them out!! Aiden is right on the border for sizes so we were sent both a package of the Midi and the Maxi diapers so we could find the best size for him!

About the Bamboo Nature Diapers (From the Website)
Bambo Nature puts both the interests of your child and the environment as our top priorities.

Bambo Nature nappies are just like ordinary disposables, but they have a much lower eco footprint. Bambo Nature nappies are both ultra-thin and ultra-absorbent with a unique layer that draws wetness away from baby’s skin, keeping baby dry and comfortable even with repeat wetting. The nappies have been designed in conjunction with parents to assure the product has a practical design and are user friendly.

Bambo Nature has produced a range of baby diapers offering minimum environmental impact combined with maximum freedom of movement and comfort for the child. The breathable back sheet allows air to circulate to the skin, thereby reducing moisture. For the first time, state-of-the-art raw material technology makes it possible for ABENA to produce eco-labeled, environmentally friendly baby diapers that are just as slim and comfortable as ordinary baby diapers.

And what did we think?!

We think they are AWESOME!  Both sizes fit Aiden pretty well and we had no problems whatsoever with leaks. We used the smaller sized diapers during the day and the larger sized at night and honestly, I cannot see a bit of difference in these diapers and regular disposable diapers except that these are way less bulky.  My family and I were recently out to dinner one evening when a couple brought a baby girl in wearing a dress and a disposable diaper. Her diaper was so wet that the little beads in the diaper were coming out of the front of the diaper where it was falling apart! I remember thinking how gross that was and wondering how someone could ever let their baby get THAT wet and that's something I love about these diapers.  I can tell when Aiden is wet so I can change him sooner and when I do change him, the diaper is wet.....but he is dry. They need to hurry up and get these diapers into retail stores because I think parents would LOVE them!!  A disposable diaper with no chemicals, no known allergens, breathable, soft and best of all, they are GREEN!

I cloth diaper, but it would be nice to have a disposable on various occasions. Would love to try these :-)
