Blueberry French Toast Sandwich Recipe

Our kids love french toast but I think they probably get tired of it because I make it so much. I could eat it every day, just the same but I know the kids like to eat different stuff or they get bored and burnt out on stuff so I loved this new recipe from Hormel Foods for Blueberry French Toast Sandwiches!!!

Blueberry French Toast Sandwich

12 slices frozen French toast

2 large eggs

2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sugar

1 (21-ounce) can blueberry pie filling

1 (12-ounce) package Little Sizzlers® Sausage Links, crumbled, cooked and drained

1.Heat oven to 375°F.

2.In 13x9-inch baking pan, arrange 6 slices French toast.

3.In bowl, beat together eggs, cream cheese and sugar until well blended. Spread 1/2 of cream cheese mixture over French toast in baking pan. Top with pie filling; sprinkle with sausage. Arrange remaining 6 slices French toast on top. Spread with remaining cream cheese mixture.

4.Bake sandwiches 25 to 30 minutes or until cream cheese mixture is set. Let stand 5 minutes.
