Amazingly Inexpensive Things You Can Do With Arm & Hammer Baking Soda

I stand amazed today at all of the creative ideas my readers have given for a box of Arm & Hammer Baking Soda that costs less than $1!!!!!!  Who would have ever thought that such a little box could bring so many great uses at such a low cost?! I would love to share some of YOUR ideas!! Keep reading for a few of my favorites that you submitted!!!

"For Fire Safety Month, you can make an Emergency Fire Pail using ARM & HAMMER® Baking Soda! . Using Baking Soda and an empty coffee can, kids can make a Fire Pail to have on hand in the event of a kitchen fire!" ~Shelly~

I never even knew that you could put a fire out with Baking Soda! Genius!

"Make homemade clay. Making Play Clay with baking soda: combine 1-1/4 cups of water, 2 cups baking soda, 1 cup cornstarch." ~Andrea~


Here's one of my favorites since I do this at least once a week...she must do it a lot too!

"Use to remove melted plastic bread wrapper from toaster. Dampen cloth and make a mild abrasive with baking soda." ~Anita~

And finally, you can use it as first aid for bee stings! And I know for a fact that this works because we used it a ton this summer!!!

I have a garden, learned this tip from my granny.. put a little around your tomato plants to sweeten the tomatoes, also perfect to wash you garden veggie in. another one.. when y handle hot peppers or fish and want to get the pepper juice and fish odor off.. sprinkle a little on your hands and wash.
