Never Give Up: How to Find Hope and Purpose in Adversity Giveaway Ends 11/2

As a busy Mom of 4 children aged 9 and under, I don't get a lot of time to read but every once in awhile I will receive a copy of a book that I can't put down.  When I was asked to participate in the blog tour for Never Give Up: How to Find Hope and Purpose in Adversity, I never imagined the impact this book would have on my life.

Never Give Up, written by Ruthe Rosen, is an in-depth look into the journey that Rosen had to endure after her 14-year old daughter was diagnosed with an inoperable, cancerous brain tumor.  Never have I read a book that shows such a vast amount of faith, courage and determination.  In this book, you get to follow along in the journey beginning with her daughter Karla's diagnosis.  Through Karla's journal entries and Rosen's account of events that took place, you actually feel like you are right there with them. There are parts of the books that made me laugh and parts that made me break down and cry. I could never even try to relate to what Ruth Rosen went through watching her daughter suffer but it definitely impacted me greatly.  We go through a lot of struggles in life but when you look at the things other people are going through or have went through, it suddenly makes you take a different perspective on things.  This book made me have a greater appreciation for the things I have been given in life, including 4 healthy children.  Ruthe Rosen must be so proud to have been given the gift of such a wonderful daughter!!!

I would recommend this book to everyone, especially if you are going through something in your life and you could use some inspiration!  The way that Ruthe Rosen took a horrific situation and turned it into something wonderful inspires me every day to remain positive, regardless of the circumstances.
