What we Thought:

This is such an excellent DVD that teaches young children the in's and out's of life on the farm. I love how this gives kids an insight as to where some of the food comes from that we eat on a daily basis!!  They also get to learn how much work truly goes into planting, cultivating and harvesting crops!  What an excellent resource to teach your small children such exciting things!!

BlogHer 2011

I am giving serious consideration to attending BlogHer Conference this year. I really wanted to last year but by time I had decided, it would have been impossible to get tickets. What We Think:

Love Dare #3

This past week was a good week. Doing random acts of kindness for one another, my husband and I were able to make each other feel good knowing that we were thinking of each other all through the week. There were still bumps in the road but I think we are at least on the right path. This weeks dare is all about holding your tongue, which I will be the first to admit...neither my husband or I are very good at this. But I am willing to give it an honest try!!!

If I had to choose just one thing that I absolutely hate about using powdered baby formula it is the clumps! Episodes include:

“Spring Lamb” - It’s bath time for a reluctant Timmy. In trying to escape, Timmy gets a spring attached to his tail. It’s up to the flock to catch the bouncing baby sheep and return him to the tub before he destroys the farm.

“Supersize Timmy” - Timmy accidentally eats a tomato grown with “Miracle-Grow” fertilizer and expands to become the King Kong of sheep. Shaun must keep the giant toddler out of sight while trying to figure out how to return him to normal size.

“Bagpipe Buddy” - The sheep discover a set of bagpipes on the rubbish dump which they immediately misidentify as a sick emu. They set about trying to nurse it back to health before releasing it back into the wild.

“Cheetah Cheater” - A wildlife film inspires Pidsley the cat to play a prank on the flock by disguising himself as a leopard. Shaun is convinced there is a huge beast on the loose and concocts a plan to catch it.

“Lock Out” - While preparing for bed, the Farmer manages to lock himself out of the house and is stuck outside in his pajamas. He decides to spend the night in the barn but his incessant snoring drives the flock mad. Shaun heads up an operation to return him to his bed without waking him up.

“Draw the Line” - The flock hijack a road line-painting machine and cause chaos while creating giant works of art in the field.

“Ewe’ve Been Framed” - When Shaun accidentally breaks the farmer’s glasses, he and Bitzer have their work cut out trying to prevent their short-sighted master from having mishaps around the farm. Things get a little hair-raising for the flock before Shaun manages to replace the smashed up spectacles.

What we think:

Disney Guilty Party Game for Wii Review and Giveaway Ends 1/25

If you are looking for a game that brings some serious family fun, Guilty Party by Disney is a new game that you don't want to pass up!! 

About Guilty Party:

Disney Guilty Party combines the whodunit theatrics of classic mystery games with the family-oriented multiplayer action of traditional party games as players join the Dickens Detective Agency on a hunt for the criminal mastermind Mr. Valentine. Gamers travel to a variety of unique locations around the globe, including a high-speed train and an old aquarium, collecting clues and interrogating suspects in quick mini-games. Players use their Wii Remotes as lock picks, flashlights, fingerprint kits, magnifying glasses, and other tools of the sleuthing craft, and more than a dozen different mini-games keep things varied. Multiplayer action includes both competitive and co-operative modes, with gamers taking turns exploring each environment and collecting clues before they accuse a suspect, and Disney Guilty Party is designed to mix the clues, suspects, and mini-games with every play!

What we thought:

This is an amazing game that has brought HOURS of fun to our family!  The game is packed full of all kinds of activities and games as you try to sort through the clues, interrogate suspects and ultimately find the guilty party!  Our 5, 7 and 8 year olds all 3 play this game without any problems, and I love it because it's easy to set up and play without adult assistance and the kids can all play a game together so they aren't fighting over who gets to go. It is a super fun game that is sure to bring your family tons of laughs!!

Baby Lovey Review and Giveaway from Dolce Dreams Ends 1/30
