What We Thought:

As a Mother, I understand the importance of my children not only knowing our primary language but also knowing languages that will help them advance in their lives and in their careers as adults.  Spanish is our secondary language here in the United States and I believe it is extremely important for my children to at least know some Spanish. I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and another 3 in College. While I am in no way fluent, I could carry on a conversation if needed and I want my children to be able to do the same. This DVD is a wonderful tool for that. I was extremely happy how excited my children were to watch Las Estaciones!  We took it on a weekend trip out of town and this DVD played over and over again the entire trip!!  If you want your child(ren) to be exposed to Spanish, this is a must have tool!! Before you know it, your children will be spouting off Spanish words to you that you didn't even know!

Uprinting Photo Contest Submission

I was able to be a part of a scavenger hunt for my baby sister that took us on a journey to all of the places that hold special memories for them as a couple. The hunt ended at a hotel where her boyfriend was waiting on the balcony with this huge sign that said Will You Marry Me?! He was waiting up in a room decked out with roses and gifts as well as the diamond engagement ring that belonged to my Grandma who passed away a few years ago. Sweetest thing EVER!

Lavender Scented Space Bag Review & Giveaway Ends 3/5

When you have a large family, you are bound to have clutter somewhere in your house! For me, it's with linens and clothing. With 3 boys, I like to save everything I can so pass down to the younger boys so I have plastic tubs EVERYWHERE! I was shocked to see how easy it was to use. I put the blankets in, hooked it up to my vacuum hose and within 1 minute, it was sealed flat and air tight. I don't have to worry about my linen closet being a mess anymore and I know the blankets are protected!  The Extra Large Lavender Space Bag is the ultimate in storage. Costume Supercenter Little Lamb Review

I'm a sucker for costumes especially around the holidays. I love to have pictures taken of our kids and what better way to do that than with cute costumes for kids!! 

Around Christmas time we had the cutest little Elf costume for our little guy and for Easter we received this adorable lamb costume! It is so cute and cuddly and perfect for those Easter photos!!!  It's such a high quality costume that I know it's one that we could pass down for years to come!  Costume Super Center has some really awesome Easter costumes for the entire family too so keep them in mind for your pictures and special events around this time of the year!!

Updates!

Happy Monday and Happy Valentines Day everybody! I hope you all enjoy a love filled days with those you hold close to your heart!!! For me it's going to be a busy day of parties at school and hopefully I might find time to have lunch with my love!

I have found that blogging is a very time consuming task and takes a lot of time away from my duties at home so I have been trying to take breaks here lately (as you have probably noticed) to ensure I am giving my family the time and attention they deserve. Please know though that I am still reading your emails and messages and I will reply ASAP. I get around 700 emails in my inbox per day so sometimes it might take a few days but I will eventually get back to you, promise!

It has been even CRAZIER than normal here at the Crazy House. I have been working on some fun features to share with you all and we have had a lot of personal stuff going on as well. For instance, our baby boy just turned 1!!!! I am working on a feature right now to share some of the great (and not-so-great) toys for babies. We found after his party that some of the toys he received (Yes, even toys from Mom and Dad) were not so wonderful! *lol* However, he had a great 1st birthday and we were so excited to spend the day with our closest family and friends. It seems like the year literally just flew by. It seems like yesterday our baby was just born and now here he is walking and talking.

I went to slideroll.com and I was able to make a free slideshow of Aiden's 1st year too so I was super excited about that. I found that I took THOUSANDS of pictures of him throughout this 1st year and it was so much fun going through them and looking at him and how much he has changed.

What we Thought:

This is a MUST HAVE set for every little boy on your list! For less than $20, you get 4 DVD's of the best shows on the market right now for little boys! Our 5 year old could sit and watch these all days and they are even interesting enough to captivate our almost 1 year olds attention too! Thomas, Bob the Builder and Fireman Sam are some of our favorite progams to watch so this is definitely a great addition to our collection!!
