The Terrific Two's!!!

Today we enter a new phase of toddlerhood here at the Crazy House! The Terrible Terrific Two's! Happy Birthday to our sweet baby boy, Aiden!!!  I can't believe it's been 2 years already!! It really does seem like we were just bringing him home from the hospital and now I just can't figure out where the time has gone!!!

He was such a sweet baby when he was born....when he wasn't screaming or puking. He was sooooo colicky  but he sure was sweet...when he was sleeping!!!!

His first year was really busy! He learned to sit up, crawl and even walk! When we hit his 1st birthday, we couldn't believe how fast time had flown!

And now, here we are today...2 years old. I have to say, the past few weeks leading up to this day have been pretty wild. #1, he learned how to open the refrigerator. It doesn't matter what we put on it, he can master it within seconds and what a mess this has been! The first time I heard him yell "BALL!" and an egg wizzed past my head, I knew this wasn't going to be pretty. He has also decided not to take a nap for the past 5 days. We try and try...I even lay down with him. But he's fighting it the best he can. And don't even get me started on the nakedness of this child. He absolutely HATES to be dressed and streaks through the house on a regular basis. He's also quite fond of his boyhood and watching it pee in random places, all while clapping his hands and yelling "YAY!!!" He's so proud. So why would anybody ever ever ever call this time TERRIFIC?!?!?! *LOL* I have always heard of this stage in life called "The Terrible Two's" but really.....it's not all that terrible.

He does have his sweet moments!

When he's not coloring his face with markers....

I could NEVER stay mad at this face!!

This is a new phase in life. I call it the learning stages and I think it's terrific because it's such a fun time to watch your child learn and develop. Just think. In no time at all, he will be using the potty, singing his ABC's (He can already sing up to "H") and he will be counting everything in sight. Ah, yes. These are the fun days and while it may be exhausting and even frustrating at times, I am looking forward to this new stage in our little guy's life. He has so many teachers in the house, maybe too many! LOL

Bottom line. Even when he is being rotten, he is still terrific.

Even when he wears undies on his head.

And tries to catch fish out of the fish bowl.

Or even when he insists on eating his lunch inside cardboard boxes.

He melts my heart and fills my life with so much joy.

Happy Birthday big boy!!!!

Oh yea!

You can expect to see some fun toddler reviews and giveaways coming your way starting today!!!!
