Fresh Fruit Pops

The kids around here LOVE popsicles. Seriously. They would sit down and eat an entire box if I would let them. Luckily for me, they love fresh fruit too so these fresh fruit pops make an awesomely, refreshing treat on a hot day!!! I saw a picture online one day and I thought how amazing they looked and figured they would be super hard but I could not have been more wrong! They were SO simple to make and I have to say....mine came out looking pretty great!

Here's the awesome thing about these. You can pretty much use whatever fruit and juice combo that you have at home. We made these yesterday and we used cut up kiwi, strawberries, raspberries, grapes and watermelon and the juice we used was white grape juice. After the kids gobbled them up, we decided to try lemonade instead of the white grape juice and we just used strawberries and they were SO yummy!!!  We also made another combo with just kiwi's and strawberries and we used flavored water as the juice part. The sky is seriously the limit as you can use whatever you like/have at the time. We really wanted fresh peaches but couldn't find any around here so we will have to keep an eye out for those!!!

So basically you just cut up whatever fruit you want to use, put it in the popsicle molds and then fill to the line with whatever juice you are going to use. It's really THAT easy. They took about 6 hours to get firm in our freezer and they were DEFINITELY a hit!!!

I'm going to add this to YOUR must try list!!!

way cool! Now, I need to be on the look-out for some better popsicle molds. It seems that every time I purchase some, they are not well made...Actually, I wish I had some right now because we have a lot of fruit right now. These are going to be a must try!

Thanks for sharing!

Blessings,
Kristine
