All Terrain Sunscreen

It's no secret that this has been one HOT summer so far!  If you look out into our yard, the signs of extreme heat are everywhere from our withered garden to our ugly, dead grass. One thing that hasn't been damaged by the sun this summer, however, is our skin thanks to All Terrain Sunscreen!!!  Our 10 year old has played dozens of baseball games and we have relied on the AquaSport SPF 30 to keep him protected from the sun during long games.  AquaSport SPF 30 was just rated the top sunscreen in the June 2012 Consumer Report Sunscreen Report. AquaSport SPF 30 is oxybenzone-free and has full-spectrum protection from UVA (skin cancer) and UVB (sunburn) rays.  With non-nano and un-coated zinc oxide, it is natural, non-whitening, non-greasy and fragrance free lotion or spray that will not cause eye stinging.  It is water and sweat resistant and is proven to be effective after 80 minutes in the water.

We have been using the AquaSport prior to every game and even after a day with over 12 hours in the sun, we are all completely protected from the suns most harmful rays.  Unlike a lot of the sunscreens we have used in the past, I love that the AquaSport doesn't leave a film on the skin. Some sunscreens are really greasy and others are very sticky and we didn't experience any of that with the AquaSport. It glided onto the skin and didn't leave any kind of yucky residue. It doesn't bother our son at all, not even when he starts to pour sweat and that is a HUGE plus for us!

According to Consumer Reports, Aqua Sport SPF 30 was one of the highest scoring sunscreens based on effectiveness.  It also was one of the best against staining. I have to put this in here because I think this is very important. I purchased a big brand name sunscreen not long ago in the spray form. Our children all used it and every single one of our new beach towels was ruined by it!!!!  It stained everything it touched including a brand new swimsuit that my daughter was wearing. We didn't have any trouble at all with the AquaSport. I used it on my son multiple times throughout a baseball tournament last weekend and we didn't have any staining issues at all.  EWS's Skin Deep Report also listed AquaSport as one of the top performing sunscreens.  The report lists top-rated sunscreens with broad spectrum (UVA and UVB) protection but fewer hazardous chemicals that penetrate the skin.
