I have never been a hardcore couponista, mostly because I just don't have the time. With a family that includes a husband and four children, my time is extremely valuable to me and to take the time to find the coupons and then cut the coupons and then actually remember to take the coupons with me when I go to the store, it's just not feasible for me. So that is why I was thrilled when I found out about the Coupon Cabin App!!!
First I must say that the App is extremely easy to use. It has a nice, clean, easy to read layout so you can find what you are looking for quickly and easily! With a quick tap you can explore each topic and find the deals within each specific category.
Coupon Codes: This category is filled with coupon codes for internet shops. You can see what is available for each store and the average savings for each code. It also includes expiration dates and how successful other users have had with each deal. This is great for me because I don't want to waste my time on a deal that has had a 0% success rate! You are able to get the coupon from the app or you can send it via email, social networking sites or even text messaging. You can also set it as a favorite so you can come back later and check it out again!
Under Printables, you can find all of your favorite stores printable coupons. These also include expiration dates and success rates and you can email them to yourself to make them easier to print.
In the Grocery section, you can find brands and offers and again, these are emailed to you so you can print them. I found everything from Arm & Hammer to General Mills coupons in this section. For example, there is a coupon for $1 General Mills cereal that expires on August 30, 2012 and it has a 100% success rate. Score!!!! You just pull up the coupon and tap "email me" and you are good to go!
While browsing the Deals, I found some awesome buys like night shirts from the Disney Store for 51% off and 25% off Vera Bradleys!!!! I also found deals from some of my favorite stores like Old Navy, Victoria Secret and Kohls! You just tap the "Shop Now!" button to be taken to their online shopping page to make your purchases!
If you want to find local deals specific to your area, try the Local button. Unfortunately it couldn't find any deals in my area but if you live in a bigger city, you might have better luck than those of us who live in the cornfields :)
One of my favorite sections was Gas Prices. It's really important to me to find the best gas prices around and this is the perfect way to do it! We are heading to Indy soon and this will be a great tool!
If you like free stuff, you will want to check out the Freebies section for sure!
Finally, the Coupons for Troops is an awesome program where you can collect coupons to send to our troops. What a fantastic program to help those serving in our military!!!
This is an awesome app and if you are like me and you like to save money where you can, you will definitely want to check it out!!!! This is like a dozen apps all rolled into one!!! You can view it and download it HERE! This is available for both iPhones and Android!
