Nutrisystem Week 8 #NSNation

This was definitely one of THOSE weeks if you know what I am talking about. After the crazy storms that swept through our area and left us without power, I was very scared to weigh in this week. Without power meant that I could not prepare my Nutrisystem meals and there are only so many bars you can eat in a day. LOL We ended up eating out almost the entire weekend and while I stuck to the healthiest choices I could find, that's not always the easiest thing to do. On top of that, we have had baseball tournaments nearly every weekend and I am finding it hard to balance things, especially when we go out after the games! It's difficult for me to choose which things I am going to sacrifice for sure. For instance, the last tournament, everybody went out for pizza afterwards. I really wanted to eat as I was starving but I hated to eat that pizza because I really wanted a tall, fruity drink. HA!  So I had to compromise and eat only one small square of pizza and I had them hold my whipped cream on my strawberry daquiri. LOL  Seriously though. I find situations like this to be very difficult but I think I am doing a great job at still choosing what's best for me and NOT going overboard.  I am not much of an alcohol drinker but I do like to have a fruity drink now and again, especially  in the summertime. I try to make up for those special times with extra workouts and it seems to be working out for me!

Week 2: 3 pounds
Week 3: 2 pounds
Week 4: 3 pounds
Week 5: 1 pound
Week 6: 4 pounds
Week 7: 1 pound
Week 8: 1 pound

Total weight lost: 22 pounds
