While enjoying a vacation to Sonoma, you'll likely want to check out some of the area's amazing wineries. Be sure to make Benziger Family Winery one of the spots on your list. If you love the environment, you'll be truly happy to know that Benziger is a premier provider of Sonoma organic wine, and the establishment uses sustainable farming methods. Benziger offers wine tours on a daily basis at 11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. Reservations are recommended, so it's best to call and reserve a spot for you and your group. The price for this fabulous tour is $30 for wine club members and $40 for other individuals. You can also go on a Biodynamic vineyard tram tour, which is a 45 minute exploration of the vineyard along with explanations of how the wines are produced. These tours depart every half hour from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every day. No tours depart at 12 noon. If you're simply interested in doing a tasting, you can opt for a tasting at the main bar for $10 or in the estate and reserve rooms for $20. All guests to these activities must be at least 21 years of age. You can also book a private event at Benziger; however, this winery does not play host to weddings or wedding receptions.
