Mohawk Rug Review and Giveaway

We are finally starting to get our new house put together and one of the things we are most excited about is our hardwood floors.  We paid a lot of money to get the floors refinished and we knew we were going to need some nice area rugs to put down after they were done. I love area rugs because they not only protect your floors but they add a lot of color and decor to your home so we were really excited to get to work with Mohawk for this portion of our Home Makeover Event!

Area rugs are very popular right now because you can get them fairly inexpensive and they make a big difference in a room. Mohawk has a HUGE selection of rugs for the home in all different styles and sizes. Whether you are looking for small rugs for the kitchen or you are looking for a rug to cover a larger area, Mohawk has you covered. We have even been looking at some carpet from Mohawk to put down in our den area and we love everything we have looked at so far!!

This was the space that we put the rug in. I liked the room before we put the rug down but I absolutely love it now with the new rug!

We chose the Mohawk Home 5x8 Multicolor Select Strata Area Rug for this space.  It is a cool, contemporary style rug and we love how it goes with the room. You can find this rug at Lowe's for around $149 which is a great deal!!! You can tell that this is not a cheap made rug and it is going to last a very long time in this room and we could not be happier with the results.

Whatever type of floor coverings you are looking at for your home, check out Mohawk Home! You are sure to find something that your entire family will love. Be sure and drop by the Mohawk Facebook page and thank them for the giveaway! I am sure they would love to hear which rug is your favorite!!!
