Thanksgiving Treat Roundup

As busy as we have been trying to get ou rnew house ready to move into, it suddenly dawned on me today how close we are to Thanksgiving! We are *supposed* to be hosting at our new house and I am not quite sure that is going to happen but on top of that, I also have parties and things to do with my children in their classrooms. I had a little spare time today so I did a roundup of a few of the best Thanksgiving treats I could find so hopefully if you are in the same boat that I am, this post will help you out too!

First off, I have seen several versions of the Oreo Turkey's but this one from Our Best Bites is definitely our favorite! I am thinking I will try and make these to take into my 2nd graders class party for Thanksgiving! All you need is Oreo cookies, candy corn, mini Reese cups, malted milk balls and icing. I especially love these because we have so much leftover Halloween candy to use up so I am sure we already have a lot of these ingredients. Plus, they are totally adorable.

My next favorite is a Blessings Mix I found on 11Cupcakes website. I love her idea of the mix but I think it would be much cuter in a waffle cone so I think I am going to make the mix and serve it in the cones at the party also! For the mix you can use Bugles, M&M's, Nuts, Candy Corn, Small Pretzels and Dried Fruit!

The last thing that I found was a Thanksgiving Tree! What a great idea to teach your children to be thankful! You can do this ahead of time or wait until Thanksgiving day and let everyone in the family add leaves to the tree to show what they are thankful for!

Do you have any great Thanksgiving craft or food ideas? If so, shoot me an email! We would love to feature your ideas!!!
