Inspire Kids to Be Excited About Nature

I love everything about Spring but I am most excited to get the kids back outside again. We have a new house with a huge back yard which means it is almost time to start working on our garden!!  To get the kids inspired and excited about getting outdoors, two new original picture books have been released by Craigmore Creations!

Flowers by Number gets kids counting flowers, petals, stems and stamens while being introduced to some of the most beautiful wildflowers Mother Nature has to offer. From skunk cabbage to water lilies and everything in between, each page is beautifully illustrated and provides fun facts for each flower. This is more than a traditional number book that counts to ten, it's a great read aloud and a great way to spark a child's appreciation for the beauty found in nature!

Also available is Tool.Time.Twist.A Brief History of Tools Through Time! This book uses hilarious illustrations and fascinating facts to take readers through the history of tools from the stone hand ax to the modern toolbox.  The "Twist" will satisfy the curiosity of all budding DIY'ers when they learn not just what each tool is and when it was first invented but also how each tool is used, who invented it and how it has shaped our lives. This book is sure to inspire some fun outdoor projects!

To help celebrate Spring, Craigmore Creations has put together a handy giveaway that will give your child all the tools they need to grow their own beautiful WILD FLOWER garden!!  The giveaway includes a hardcover copy of both Flowers by Number and Tool.Time.Twist. A Brief History of Tools Through Time. It also includes a 3-piece children's garden tool set and a packet of wildflower seeds!
