Father's Day Crafts For Kids #GiftsForDad

Father's Day is next month so you might have already started thinking about what to get Dad this year. If you have small children, most Dad's will appreciate something handmade just as much as they would yet another coffee mug or gift card. Over the course of the next several weeks, I would love to share easy and inexpensive Father's Day gift ideas that you and your children can make at home.

This week, our Father's Day Craft idea is so easy!

What you Need:

Construction Paper
Paint
Willing Hands

Directions:

Paint a tree trunk onto a piece of construction paper or card stock. If you are a really bad artist like me, Google "tree trunk" images and you can probably find one to print off. My preschooler did a similar craft over winter and they used finger paint and used the kids arms to make the trunk. Do whatever works for you! This is meant to be a fun and easy craft!

Next, have each of the kids do a hand print in different shades of green and yellow going outwards from the trunk. Add some words, stick it in a nice frame and you have a wonderful and PERFECT Father's Day gift that any Daddy with young children can cherish forever!

Here are some great quotes you can use on it or you can just put Happy Father's Day!

"He didn't tell me how to live.  He lived and let me watch him do it."

"Anyone can be a father. It takes someone special to be a Dad."

"Dad-A son's first hero, a daughter's first love."

"The greatest gift I ever had came from God. I call him Dad."

"Blessed is the man who hears many little voices call him Dad."
