2013 was an amazing year for me. I ended up finishing the year 52 pounds lighter than what I started. If you have struggled with weight loss, you can only imagine how excited I am to have reached such an amazing goal. But I am not there yet! I still have around 20-25 pounds to lose to reach my ultimate goal and thanks to a new lifestyle of exercise and clean eating, I am determined to get there no matter how long it takes or how hard the journey is. Clean eating is something that has taken me awhile to grasp the concept of but now that I have been living it for nearly 6 months, it has just become a way of life for me. If God didn't give it to us, I try not to put it into my body and it has resulted in amazing weight loss, energy and a feeling of accomplishment that I so longed for and needed. If living healthier is a goal for you in 2014, you will definitely want to stick around because I am going to be sharing a lot of great posts on healthy recipes and just healthier living in general. I'm starting out today by sharing a fantastic clean eating french toast recipe that was adapted from the Dolce Diet. They call it East Coast Breakfast Toast. I call it clean french toast and it is not only healthy but it is simply delicious!
