The ER is there to put out fires (as an analogy). They can&#39;t follow your symptoms once you walk out the door; you may have a disease process that hasn&#39;t manifested fully to where they can diagnose it quickly. Even if it turns out to be nothing your mind at ease will be worth the trip. You need a physician who can follow you, it may take a few trips to sort out what is going on. Keep going back and ask what other tests they can do. Tell them what you just said in your post, that you know your body and you know something is not right.
